
FLOC Families,
We would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to all of the recent graduates from FLOC’s JBG SMITH City Leaders Program. Between our high school and college students, we had 7 students graduate this year. Congratulations to the Class of 2021, we can’t wait to see where the future takes you!
FLOC's High School Graduates

Amari Bryan-Chavis
While in high school, Amari participated in Girls Up and Diversity Club. She really appreciated FLOC giving her “that extra help” to succeed in high school. Amari will be attending Florida A&M University this fall to pursue a degree in nursing.

Brianna Campoverde
Brianna had several internships and did community service in high school. She said that building communication with others improved her high school experience. Brianna will be attending Northern Virginia Community College to study Marketing Communications.

Frank Hernandez
Frank will be attending The Catholic University of America in the fall to study Media Communications. In high school, Frank participated in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. He said he’s learned from high school that “being social and open-minded is the best you can do.”

Jaylen Matthews
Jaylen will be attending The Savannah College of Art & Design in Fall 2021.

Maria graduated from American University and has already been accepted into a teaching program. Congratulations Maria, you’re going to do great!

Jessenia Lazaro
Jessenia just graduated from Trinity Washington University with a degree in Psychology. Jessenia has a bright future ahead, and we are excited to see where this degree takes her!
