FLOC takes FedEx Field
On August 13th, FLOC had the honor of participating in the Washington Football Team’s Back to School Fair held at FedEx Field. The event was presented by the Washington Football Charitable Foundation to provide DC students and their families with a single destination for all of their back-to-school necessities. We had a great time meeting new students and their families (and seeing some familiar faces), playing games, handing out prizes, and spreading FLOC’s mission! We are so glad we got to help students get ready to head back to school in just a few weeks.

Join us September 11th for our Back-to-School FLOCfest! This event will be an open house and supply pick up and is open to all DC students and their families. Stop by, learn about FLOC, and enjoy free food, games, and prizes! Current FLOC students will also be able to pick up their FREE supplies for FLOC program. The event will be held in the FLOC Parking Lot at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave SE from 11am-1pm. We hope to see you there!

- August 30th: Chipotle Fundraiser
FLOC is partnering up with Chipotle to hold another Percent Night! What better way to celebrate the first day of school for DC students (and their parents) than by eating out for dinner? Order online, in person, or through the Chipotle app from their 8th Street location on Monday, Aug. 30th from 4-8 pm, and 50% of the proceeds will be donated back to FLOC. - September 11th: Back-to-School FLOCfest
Held in the FLOC Parking Lot at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave SE from 11am-1pm.
Looking Ahead
It’s almost time to go back to school! Send us pictures of your student on the first day of school and tell us what they are most looking forward to this year. Submit your photos here or email them to mroberts@floc.org and you could be featured on FLOC’s social media!
