FLOC Programs have officially begun, and we’re so excited for this upcoming school year!
The Scholars Program is beginning its fourth week. So far, Scholars have engaged in team-building and goal-setting workshops and even a Mock Trial with the exceptional guidance of Wilkie Farr and Gallagher LLP staff members.
The Neighborhood Tutoring Programs at FLOC began two weeks ago. Our students and tutors are paired up for the year and are off to a wonderful start. Everyone is engaged in learning through fun and educational games and activities.
The NTP programs at Tubman, Ross, Malcolm X, and Center City PCS at Congress Heights had their first days of program last week. We’re excited about these new and old partnerships and working with their wonderful students. Also, we are still looking for tutors at these sites especially, so please consider recommending our programs to your friends, family, and co-workers.
