T’aira is a confident and motivated student who has participated in both the Scholars Program (formerly called “Leaders in Action”) and the Neighborhood Tutoring Program. She is feisty, creative, and influential among her peers. When facing a challenge, she does not back down. As she has matured and participated in FLOC programs, she has begun to see herself as part of the larger community. She has also learned how to cooperate more effectively with her peers and make plans to achieve her dreams.
