28 hours of FLOC tutoring can change a students life. What can we accomplish with a week?
The sun is out, the cicadas are gone, and YOU’RE INVITED to the first-ever Walk with FLOC Virtual Walk-a-Thon! You will have one week to walk (or run!) 2.8 miles from wherever you live while raising money and awareness for FLOC students and programs. Are you ready to Walk with FLOC?
In honor of the 28 hours of one-on-one tutoring it takes for FLOC students to improve in reading or math, we are challenging each participant to raise $280. Together, we can reach FLOC’s goal of raising $28,000 to support FLOC students as they head back to school this Fall.
Walk with FLOC will take place Virtually Monday, September 13th through Friday, September 17th 2021.
How does a virtual Walk-a-Thon work?
Just because its virtual doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. We encourage participants to sign up with friends/family and walk together during the week of September 13-17. Motivate each other, fundraise together, and spread the word about FLOC and its programs. Don’t forget to send in pictures of your group walking to be featured on FLOC’s social media, and see who’s Walking for FLOC across the country!
