Program update
FLOC’s Spring Virtual Program is off to a great start! We loved getting to see our students and volunteers during FLOC’s Back-2-School Zoom event in January. We played games, got a little competitive with trivia, and gave out prizes! With school and FLOC programs in full swing, we wanted to take a moment to relax and show our FLOC family how much all of their hard work is appreciated.
Student Story
FLOC students know how important it is to start the semester off on the right foot. Ryan had a great first session with his reading tutor Nicole last week. He began to write a story about an art project he created in middle school, read an article about art, and started reading a graphic novel that he is really excited about. He also came up with some great expectations to follow during tutoring sessions this semester.

Looking Ahead
March is Women’s History Month. Ask your students who their female role model is and send us the answers. Include a photo to be featured in FLOC’s social media! Photos and responses can be sent to mroberts@floc.org.
