According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, in 2000, no state had a prevalence of obesity “equal to or greater than 25%”; by 2010, no state had less than 20%.
FLOC programming has been quite active this summer. Our Neighborhood Tutoring Program (NTP) worked with nearly 100 students, while our Scholars participated in zoology and test preparation workshops.
