We are soaring this school year at FLOC!\u00a0 From enrollment to student achievement to capacity building, FLOC is busy celebrating many wins.\u00a0 Just yesterday, we participated in Give to the Max Day with amazing results.\u00a0 From midnight to midnight yesterday, November 9th, non-profits across the Greater Washington area came together and raised nearly $2 million to support great causes.\u00a0 FLOC friends, new and old, rallied to raise an incredible $86,974 to support FLOC.\u00a0 We finished in first place for amount of money raised by a single organization.\u00a0 Plus, we will be awarded an additional $27,000 in Give to the Max Day awards from\u00a0Razoo, the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region and the United Wayof the National Capital Area.\u00a0 We are extremely grateful to all those who contributed and helped us spread the word.\u00a0\u00a0Thank you!<\/strong><\/p>\n
