Fireside Chat with Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins

Join us on Wednesday, May 26 for a FLOC Fireside chat with US Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins. Ambassador Jenkins is an expert in the areas of arms control, disarmament, and nonproliferation. She was the Special Envoy and Coordinator for Threat Reduction Programs in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation (ISN), U.S. Department of State (DOS) under President Barack Obama. She is the  Founder and Executive Director of Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security, and Conflict Transformation, an organization that cultivates a strong voice and network for its members while encouraging dialogue and strategies for engaging in policy discussions on an international scale. Ambassador Jenkins was recently nominated to serve as Undersecretary for Arms Control and International Security Affairs by President Joe Biden, and awaits confirmation from the Senate. Spend an evening with Ambassador Jenkins as she is interviewed by FLOC’s Executive Director, Brandelyn Anderson, on her career, how she got there, and advice she has for our students.
